Before your campaign starts, we agree the target, how it’s measured and the start date in writing. No surprise small print — the measurement is agreed with you, not assumed.

FAQs
No questions match that search. Try a different word — or ask us directly and we’ll answer on your walkthrough.
It’s a managed marketing service — not a tool you run yourself. Specialist AI does the research and heavy lifting, your business information shapes the plan, and MN8’s team directs the work, checks the quality and makes the decisions. You get the results without having to learn or operate anything.
In short:
QuickStart is a small, agreed selection of useful edits, updates and improvements each month — things like page copy, a focused search check, local tidy-ups or a quick opportunity review. The areas on the Plans page are options to prioritise together, not a promise that every task happens every month. It’s a rolling subscription you can cancel anytime.
No. QuickStart is a rolling monthly subscription with no minimum term, and upgrading is entirely optional. Plenty of businesses stay on it for as long as it suits them. If and when you want us working across more of your marketing, we can help you choose the next plan — but there’s no obligation to.
It’s everything in Growth Engine plus an agreed programme to reach additional towns, cities or service areas — extra geographic research and implementation, prioritised where the demand makes it worthwhile. It doesn’t mean unlimited locations, pages or Business Profiles: we expand where there’s business worth winning, around priorities we agree with you.
No — search is only part of it. The Growth Engine can cover websites and design, content, social, LinkedIn, advertising, reputation, competitor research, analytics, and security & IT upkeep. What’s actually included depends on the plan you choose and the scope you agree. See what each plan covers →
No. The right priorities depend on your business. Advertising, LinkedIn, expanded content and other extras should be chosen because they’ll earn their keep — not added automatically. Tell us what you’re trying to achieve and we’ll tell you which actually make sense for you, and which to leave for now.
Yes — you can discuss changes with us at any point and we’ll talk you through what makes sense. The exact timing and billing for a change are set out in your proposal or agreement. (We’ll confirm the switch and when it takes effect in writing before anything changes — ask us.)
A mix of three things: regular scheduled work, monitoring and review, and improvement work chosen around your priorities. On the Growth Engine plan that includes one social post a week, written and posted. The exact split depends on your plan and where the opportunity is. See the plan details →
No. It’s an ongoing service, not a one-off setup followed by quiet reporting. Each month we complete a scope of agreed work, keep monitoring your market and site, and act on what we find. The amount and focus depend on your plan — but something useful is happening every month.
We start from your business goals, the demand we’ve identified, any issues on your current website, and the most practical opportunities to win enquiries. The AI surfaces and ranks options, but our team makes the call on priorities — it isn’t an automated score deciding everything for you.
Two different things: completing work (you’ll see that quickly in your updates) and commercial results (which take longer). We don’t promise fixed ranking or lead timelines — your starting point, market and the type of work all affect the pace. We’ll be straight with you about a realistic picture for your situation.
No — and anyone who promises an exact number or ranking without knowing your business is guessing. Winning customers also depends on things like your offer, availability and how enquiries are followed up. What we stand behind is our work, the progress you can see in your portal, and the specific written guarantee we agree before we start.
The difference is the managed process, not big claims. The Growth Engine lets us investigate far more of your market than human hours alone allow; your portal shows what we’re actually doing; and we judge the work by commercial value, not whether a monthly report looks impressive. Our team owns the strategy and checks the work.
Yes, we work on it — making sure your business is clearly described, accurate and easy for AI tools to understand and cite, and watching how you appear. We can’t promise a recommendation or placement in ChatGPT, Gemini or any other system — nobody controls that — but we do the work that gives you the best chance.
Not necessarily. Often the quickest wins come from improving your existing site — structure, pages, speed and conversion. If a bigger build or redesign is genuinely the right move, we’ll scope that separately rather than assume it. We’ll tell you honestly what your site actually needs.
We’ll tell you. If the demand, competition or likely value doesn’t justify a bigger plan — or any plan — we’ll recommend a sensible level of support, or advise against proceeding. We’d rather start you in the right place than sell you something that won’t pay off.
The essentials: your business goals, what you sell, who you want to reach, and access to the accounts relevant to the agreed work. Not every possible account is mandatory — only what the scope actually needs. We’ll explain exactly what’s required before any work starts.
We handle the day-to-day delivery, so very little. We’ll need a short conversation at the start, occasional decisions, and the odd factual check that only you can answer. We won’t promise “zero involvement” — a bit of your input makes the work better — but it’s designed to stay off your plate.
It depends on the scope, but typically some of: your website, Google Analytics, Google Business Profile, Search Console, and selected social accounts. We only ask for what the agreed work needs, and we’ll explain why each one helps.
Through proper account invitations and permissions — for example adding us as a user on your website or Business Profile — so access stays yours to grant and remove. Please don’t send passwords through the contact form or by email; we’ll walk you through the secure way for each account during onboarding.
Usually, yes — we’ll discuss how it works and agree who’s responsible for what so nothing clashes or gets duplicated. We won’t force an unnecessary platform switch. If there’s a genuine limitation with a particular setup, we’ll be upfront about it.
Our team quality-checks work before it goes live as standard. Where you’d like to review or sign off certain things first, we’ll agree that at the start. We won’t claim every single edit needs your approval — that would slow everything down — but you’re always in control of the direction.
Usually shortly after we’ve agreed the plan and you’ve set up the access we need. We’ll give you a realistic start timeframe when we speak — it depends on onboarding and current availability.
Specialist AI agents do the research, monitoring, comparisons and preparation at a scale no human team could match. MN8’s people set the direction, approve the priorities, check the work and implement it. AI gives us scale. People give it judgement.
You’ll speak to the MN8 team — real people, with someone there to talk to. We’ll explain who to contact and how we’ll keep you updated before you start.
On the managed plans (Growth Engine and Local Expansion) you get a live Growth Portal showing what we’ve found, what’s in progress and what’s completed. QuickStart is lighter: you get a clear summary of the changes made and what we’d suggest next, rather than the full portal.
The managed plans include monthly report cards plus the live portal you can check anytime. We won’t promise weekly meetings, scheduled calls or live-refresh frequencies unless they’re part of your plan — we’ll set out your actual reporting arrangements before you start.
Just tell us — there’s a real person to raise it with, and we’ll review the priorities with you. Small course-corrections are a normal part of the service. Larger extra work beyond your agreed scope would be discussed and quoted first, rather than assumed to be included.
AI helps us handle research and routine work more efficiently, while our team manages priorities and checks the work. Each plan has a defined scope, so you can choose a level of support that fits your business. See what each plan includes →
Yes. QuickStart is £99 per month, a rolling subscription you can cancel at any time, with no minimum term.
It depends on the plan. QuickStart has no minimum-term commitment — it’s rolling monthly. For the Growth Engine and Local Expansion plans, any minimum term or notice period is set out in your proposal.
QuickStart: cancel anytime — it’s a rolling monthly subscription with no minimum term. For the managed plans, the cancellation process and when billing stops are set out in your agreement, and we’ll confirm them in writing before you commit.
We’ll confirm the VAT position in writing before you commit — just ask and we’ll give you the exact figure for your plan.
Any setup or one-off charges are set out clearly in your proposal — nothing hidden. Separately, advertising spend, lead budgets and third-party tool fees are always your own cost and approved by you, never bundled into our fee.
No. Our fee covers managing the work. Advertising spend, lead budgets and third-party tool costs are separate, paid by you, and always approved by you first. We’ll never commit your budget without the go-ahead.
Add-ons are scoped and priced in your proposal, and you approve them before anything starts. If a particular add-on has its own minimum term or notice period, we’ll make that clear up front.
Before your campaign starts, we agree the target, how it’s measured and the start date in writing. If the Growth Engine hasn’t paid for itself within 90 days, we keep working for free until it does. No surprise small print — the measurement is agreed with you, not assumed.
No — the 90-day work-for-free guarantee applies to the Growth Engine and Local Expansion managed plans, not to QuickStart. QuickStart is a low-cost rolling plan you can cancel anytime; if you’d like guarantee-backed support, that’s the Growth Engine.
Booked revenue, profit and estimated enquiry value are different things, so we agree the target and exactly how it’s measured in writing before we start — clear and specific to your business.
We keep working for free until it is, as set out in your written terms. That covers our work — it doesn’t make third-party costs like advertising spend, lead budgets or every add-on free unless that’s been specifically agreed. The exact scope is in your guarantee terms.
You keep ownership of your own website, accounts and content. The Growth Engine platform and our tools remain ours. The precise terms are set out in your agreement.
Your own accounts stay yours — when you leave, we hand back control and remove our access. We won’t promise unlimited data exports or ongoing use of our platform without a subscription. The handover process is set out in your agreement.
We only use your data to run the service for you, and we treat it carefully. You can read our privacy notice for the full detail — what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights.
We use specialist AI tools to do research and preparation, so some information passes through them to get the work done. We’re careful about what we share. If you have specific data-handling requirements, tell us and we’ll confirm what’s possible.
On the managed plans (Growth Engine and Local Expansion), security, backups and upkeep are part of the service within the agreed scope. QuickStart covers basic checks. We don’t claim complete protection or that nothing can ever go wrong — no one honestly can — but keeping your site safe and backed up is part of the managed job.
Yes. On the walkthrough we can show the actual starting point, timeline, search growth, tracked enquiries and booked work behind the examples. See the results →, then ask us for the supporting detail relevant to a business like yours.
If you’d find it helpful to speak to a client, let us know. Where they’re happy to take part, we can arrange an introduction. We won’t publish private contact details or promise that every client is available — but genuine references are something we’re glad to set up.
Yes, it’s free, and no. The walkthrough is a free 15-minute conversation with no obligation to go ahead. We’ll show you what we found, explain where we’d start, and answer your questions — then it’s entirely your decision.
If you were sent a personalised invitation, then yes — the Growth Engine flagged your business and our team reviewed the opportunity, where the research supported it. If you’ve simply found this page, we haven’t researched you yet — but we can, as part of your free walkthrough.
Just ask. Send us your question → or raise it on the 15-minute walkthrough — you’ll get a straight answer either way.
